Miracle Kids Success Academy (MKSA) &amp; Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA) is an early intervention day treatment clinic for children with special needs. Once children are referred to MKSA/KULA by their primary care physicians, they must receive a developmental screening. Then, they may be scheduled for therapy evaluations at MKSA/KULA or bring recent therapy evaluation reports done elsewhere. To receive Early Intervention Day Treatment habilitation services, a child must have a documented developmental disability or delay, as shown on the results of an annual comprehensive developmental evaluation and qualify for at least one therapy service. Those services include (but are not limited to) fine motor delays, sensory disorders, gross motor delays, speech-language delays, hearing disorders, feeding disorders, developmental delays, cognitive delays and medical needs.
Children are placed in treatment rooms based on their developmental needs and ages. Our treatment rooms are adequately staffed with teachers and teachers' assistants and are designed to celebrate the cultural differences of the children and families we serve. MKSA/KULA has many licensed occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists on staff to provide needed care to the children who qualify for therapy services. And, MKSA/KULA has nurses on staff to serve children with medical needs.
MKSA/KULA's services also include developmental/psychological testing by a licensed psychologist, nutritional evaluations and consultations, and audiological evaluations. Our whole treatment team works together and with our patients' families to make sure each child's needs are met.

Calyx Living is actively seeking an Regional Director of Activity Programming to assist in executing and overseeing a world class activity program for both our assisted living and memory care programs across all of our current generation senior living communities located in the Raleigh, North Carolina and greater Triangle market. 
As an Regional Director of Activity Programming, you will play a key role in creating a best-of-class activity experience for our seniors. This position will be responsible for overseeing the activity program development, including our industry-leading instructor-led activity class program as well as a holistic immersive program for our residents with memory or cognitive issues. The position will also be responsible for overseeing the execution of all programmed to the quality standards needed at each community to ensure a vibrant, rich quality of life experience for our seniors. 
Regional Director of Activity Programming Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Activity Programming, Recreation or a similar degree in therapeutic programming.</li>
<li>Three to five years of assisted living, independent living and memory care activity programming experience. </li>
<li>Multi-site experience a plus, as this position will be routinely present in the communities.</li>
<li>Experience with dementia care programming is highly desired.</li>
<li>Strong writing skills and creative planning ability are a must.</li>
<li>Time management, work ethic and accountability are highly desired. </li>
</ul>
Primary Responsibilities:.
<ul>
<li>Develop innovative, engaging and fresh activity programming that offers a holistic, vibrant living experience for our seniors, both assisted living and memory care.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with program requirements and standards to ensure the elevation of the activity program and deliver key activity cornerstones all communities.</li>
<li>Lead routine on-site QA efforts at all communities including ensuring submission of programming and calendars for review, attendance tracking and ensuring feedback and improvement suggestions from residents.</li>
<li>Assist in new community openings through the training and mentoring of the activities and care staff.</li>
<li>Provide training and mentorship, promoting professional growth, and development of the team at the communities.</li>

Job Description
Purpose of the Position:
Instructional and management responsibilities for the specified Workforce Development site
· Responsible for providing site supervision of nursing program activities.
· Assists the Regional Dean with implementing special projects
· Works with and functions under the supervision of the Regional Dean.
Job responsibilities:
Assists the Regional Dean with planning, developing, managing, updating, and evaluating all aspects of the program including, but not limited to:
· Faculty and staff.
· Clinical site liaison.
· Clinical calendars and matrix.
· Blended Learning Curriculum implementation.
· Program compliance with Board and/or accreditor rules and regulations; site visits.
· Student advocate.
· Program policies and procedures.
· Faculty and student handbooks.
· Oversee maintenance of and identification of needed supplies and equipment to meet program objectives.
Assists with preparing data and other written materials for all required state and Board requirements, reports, proposals, self-studies, surveys, and site visits.
· Assists with maintaining on-site student records.
· Collaborate with HR to maintain the required faculty and staff documentation.
· Identifies need for obtaining outside resources for the nursing program
· Serves on program committees
· Assists with admission process and nursing core orientation
· Must be able to fill-in for clinical, skills lab, or sim lab when vacancies occur.
Clinical Responsibilities
The academic director assists the Regional Dean with the following aspects as relates to clinical sites:
· Thorough assessment of the ability of the agency to provide clinical experience that meets the objectives for application of theory and clinical course objectives. The assessment
includes an analysis of risk, hazards, and safety of all students, as well as ensuring adequate staffing to handle clinical objectives.
· Meets with specific clinical faculty or agency educational representative to discuss and confirm number of students, faculty assignments, dates, times, and clinical objectives. Completes and forwards to the Regional Dean the BRN clinical approval forms as required prior to initiating clinical rotations.
· Meets monthly with Clinical Partner and Regional Dean to review clinical operations.
· Is the primary contact for partner Human Resources for concurrent student/employee disciplinary concerns that may affect program standing.
· Participates with the assigned clinical consortium.
· Ensure clinical evaluations are completed in a timely manner by assigned faculty.
· Collects and disseminates semester-end student and clinical site evaluations data to the Regional Dean.
· Communicate with the Clinical Education Management Department to maintain clinical facility contract updates.
· Maintains minutes of inter-agency meetings.
Faculty Responsibilities
Assists with preparing data and other written materials for all required state and Board requirements, reports, proposals, self-studies, surveys, and site visits.
· Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives to ensure quality of program.
· Utilize principles of teaching that recognize the characteristics of the adult learner.
· Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different and innovative methodologies and techniques in teaching.
· Demonstrates willingness to acquire skills for utilizing online activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learning.
· Ensures that clinical assignments, clinical rotation matrixes and calendars are completed one month prior to start of next rotation.
· Confirms that clinical faculty consistently follows policies and guidelines as related to student clinical rotation experience.
· Ensures that student performance in theory and clinical learning objectives and outcomes is completed and documented in a timely manner by all faculty.
