Position Overview:
The Clinical Educator (CE) reports to the Director of Education and works closely with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure that all clinical employees are provided adequate and appropriate education. Environmental and Mechanical Considerations:
While serving in an office or classroom setting, the CE generally conducts his/her activities in a controlled, office environment. Limited exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards may exist in this environment. While serving in a clinical or observational capacity at a base location the CE delivers critical care services under the stresses of flight, with frequent exposure to blood/body fluids, in sometimes hazardous conditions, near moving mechanical parts and within high noise environments. Position Specific Accountabilities:
<ul>
<li>Assists in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization’s Mission, Vision and Values and execute succession/growth plans </li>

Position Summary:
The Fitness and Wellness Director is responsible for the strategic leadership and daily operations of The Bridgewater Club’s fitness center, tennis and pickleball facilities, and aquatic complexes. This role oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of health and wellness programs that align with the club’s mission of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Fitness and Wellness Director fosters a culture of excellence, member engagement, and continuous improvement through exemplary service and relationship-building. 
 
Leadership:
<ul>
<li>Staff Leadership to include recruit, train, supervise and evaluate schedule. Ensure that the Mission and Core values are upheld. </li>
<li>Provide leadership and mentorship, while creating a working environment that fosters growth and development. </li>
<li>Manage scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for the fitness center and special events. </li>
<li>Monitor and maintain SOP’s to ensure a consistent exceptional service is provided. Assists in developing and updating policies and procedures. Follows all safety and policies and procedures. </li>
<li>Ability to support members and their health &amp; wellness through relationship building &amp; use of open communication. </li>
<li>As part of the Management Team, serves as Manager on Duty, attends weekly Management meetings and assists with marketing/planning for variety of Club Events. </li>

Program &amp; Facility Management:

<li>Program Oversight &amp; Development for Aquatics, Wellness Services and Youth Activities. </li>

<li>Assess the programs and services regularly to ensure they meet the needs of our members. </li>
<li>Oversee and ensure the pool operations are upheld. </li>
<li>Oversee group fitness schedule and programing. </li>
<li>Oversee the scheduled services, Pilates, Massage Therapy, Personal Training and Mind Body programming. </li>
<li>Manage the safety and effectiveness of the childcare and youth activities programming. </li>
<li>Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, safety and repair of all equipment for fitness center and group fitness room and other fitness related equipment. </li>
<li>Ensure quality and safety of programs and equipment keeping up with industry best practices. </li>
<li>Manage schedules, inspections, equipment rotation, and scheduled replacement. </li>
</ul>
Fiscal Management:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for fitness department budget (which includes aquatics, youth activities and fitness and wellness programs.) </li>
<li>Responsible for maintenance, repairs and life cycle planning for fitness equipment. </li>
<li>Manage payroll for fitness staff. </li>
<li>Oversee the equipment purchasing process through researching equipment and services, developing RFP’s, generating price comparisons and compiling member feedback regarding various pieces of equipment and supplies in the facility. </li>

General:

<li>Adhere to club policies, procedures and regulations. </li>

Compensation:

<li>The compensation package for the Fitness Director is an annual base salary and bonus plan. In addition, there are medical and dental benefits, 401K and vacation/personal/sick time off in accordance with the Bridgewater Club policies.
