Program Director

Sunbeam Television, WSVN-TV is seeking a strategic and experienced Program Director. This role oversees programming strategy, scheduling, syndication, audience analytics, and FCC compliance, working closely with network partners and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
•Acquire, negotiate, and schedule syndicated content.
•Manage programming budgets and contracts.
•Develop and manage programming schedules.
•Analyze Nielsen data to optimize ratings and viewer engagement.
•Serve as liaison to network partners.
•Coordinate local specials, event coverage, and content strategy.
•Ensure FCC and network compliance, including all required reporting.
•Lead programming staff and collaborate with News, Sales, and Creative teams.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in media, Communications, or related field.
•5–7 years of experience in TV programming, preferably with network affiliates.
•Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytics skills.
•Familiarity with Miami markets.
•Proficient in Nielsen systems and media scheduling tools.
