
Local Sales Manager
WCAV-WVAW- FOX Virginia, a Lockwood Broadcast Group station in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia is looking for a Local Sales Manager.
The Local Sales Manager oversees both linear TV and digital sales. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in TV and digital sales management and a deep knowledge of digital sales products and tactics. They will also have a strong desire to build relationships with new and existing customers and a proven track record of business development and revenue growth.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the training, evaluation, and development of the local AEs while providing leadership to create a work environment that fosters positive work experience.
- Assist GSM with decisions regarding hiring, promotion, and termination of employees.
- Develop and execute strategies for achieving local, new business, and digital revenue goals and forecasting future revenue expectations.
- Maximize revenue potential by effectively managing commercial inventory on all channels.
- Develop client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction alongside the Account Executives.
- Develop strategies to enhance traditional revenue opportunities, identify new revenue streams, and lead the execution of product implementation.
- Identify, coordinate, and attend local marketing and advertising association events.
- Manage digital ad campaigns on core products, including website, news app, and weather app.
- Gathering and presenting digital campaign performance reports, providing ongoing consultation throughout campaign.
- Staying up-to-date on digital advertising products, capabilities, best practices, technical aspects, and metrics.
