YOUR ROLE
As KickStart’s Head of Communications &amp; Social Media, you'llplay a pivotal role in shaping how the world perceives and engageswith KickStart. You'll lead our communications strategy, createcompelling content, and ensure our mission resonates with audiencesworldwide while expanding our reach to support KickStart’s mission.Specifically, your role will encompass:

Whether crafting engaging newsletters,developing a visually stunning and informative Annual Report, ororchestrating dynamic video and photographic content from thefield, you'll translate complex ideas into powerful narratives.Your creativity and design expertise will convey the essence of ourimpact and the voices of the farmers we help empower.</li>
<li>Digital Engagement: Develop and implement adata-driven digital ad strategy to enhance our reach and ensure ourmission is highlighted across all platforms. Drive our digitalpresence by creating and posting content that captivates andengages diverse audiences.</li>
<li>Fundraising Communication: Collaborate closelywith our Fundraising team to ensure strategic communications arealigned with donor engagement goals. Create targeted appeals forkey donor groups that enhance relationships and drive long-termsupport.</li>
<li>Media Relations: Build and nurturerelationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets tosecure coverage that showcases the powerful stories of our farmersand the positive changes they’re experiencing. Develop pressmaterials and media releases.</li>
<li>Collaborate and Learn: Work closely with ourteams in Sub-Saharan Africa to gather authentic stories and data.Embrace a learning mindset to understand the challenges andsuccesses of our farmers, ensuring our communications are accurateand meaningful.</li>

WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced and natural communicator with a flair forcreating compelling content and a desire to make a tangibledifference. More specifically, you are:

<li>Experienced: You have 5+ years incommunications, public relations, or a related field. Experienceworking in international nonprofits or social enterprises is aplus.</li>
<li>A Creative Storyteller: You excel at creatingnarratives that resonate. Your writing and design skills aretop-notch, and you’re adept at using tools like Adobe CreativeSuite, Canva, or similar platforms.</li>
<li>Strategically Minded: You can develop andexecute comprehensive communications strategies that driveengagement and awareness.</li>

We are a leading children's sportswear company doing business in licensed and private label with ALL major retailers across the USA.
Salary Range: 125k – 150k

<li>Develop boys&nbsp;licensed apparel, ensuring design innovation and trend alignment.</li>
<li>Oversee associate designers and collaborate with graphic designers to execute seasonal projects.</li>
<li>Organize and track project timelines, keeping all tasks on schedule and meeting deadlines.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Sales to plan and strategize throughout the season to meet market demands.</li>
<li>Conduct market research to discover the latest trends and introduce fresh, new ideas.</li>
<li>Identify market gaps and brainstorm innovative, trend-driven designs that resonate with the target audience.</li>
<li>Partner with the licensing team to select key licenses for each season’s design focus.</li>
