Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity for a skilled professional to work as a School Psychologist supporting educational institutions in the Saint Louis, MO area. The role involves providing psychological services to students to support their academic, social, and emotional development while collaborating closely with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' individual learning needs
- Developing and implementing intervention plans and strategies to promote positive student outcomes
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success and well-being
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participating in the development of school-wide programs and initiatives to foster a positive learning environment
- Traveling between schools within the region to deliver required services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to conduct assessments and analyze data to inform interventions
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple school locations
