Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized educational support for K-3 students within a K-12 school setting in Cleveland, Ohio, as a School Based Special Education Teacher. This contract role offers a 37.5-hour workweek over five days, focusing on delivering tailored instruction and interventions to meet diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) based on student assessments.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
- Monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on student achievements.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certification.
- Experience working with early childhood students (K-3) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, practices, and instructional strategies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
