Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational opportunity is available for a certified Teacher for the Visually Impaired to support students with visual impairments throughout the school year. This contract position is based in Hephzibah, GA, and offers the chance to make a significant impact on student learning and development in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of visually impaired students.
• Provide specialized instruction and support to enhance students' academic and functional skills.

• Use adaptive technology and materials to facilitate effective learning.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired.
• Prior experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments.
• Strong knowledge of specialized instructional strategies, assistive technology, and relevant educational laws.
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
