Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This part-time position is designed to provide critical support and assessment services during a maternal leave, serving students across 1-2 elementary schools. The role demands a dedicated individual who can foster the emotional and educational well-being of children within the school environment.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of special education regulations and practices
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create supportive learning environments
- Provide consultation to school staff regarding student needs and interventions
- Deliver professional development workshops on mental health and wellness
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
- Address and manage crisis situations when they arise
