Actively Interviewing for MTS Scientist to join diagnostic solutions client in Norcross, GA!

Description

The MTS team provides technical support for the client's manufacturing groups. They deal with issues during manufacturing, qualify new raw materials, and have a testing lab that supports investigations and qualifications. MTS Scientists will be doing a lot of automated testing, ensuring raw materials are acceptable for use before releasing to manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. With guidance, execute, and complete an investigation /project / process development to a logical conclusion.

2. Gain an understanding of the products and science behind the techniques being used.

3. Gain an understanding of where to find relevant information (i.e.,SOP's, cross functional groups, required documents to full fill job responsibilities.

4. Understanding of statistics and use of statistical software (eg MiniTab, JMP, Excel)

5. Compile and analyze data for Sr. scientist to analyze

6. With some oversight, able to complete required notebooks, reports, forms, etc. with minimal errors suitable for audits.

7. Able to maintain data, test samples, etc. in a well-organized easy to locate fashion during all aspects of the studies/investigations.8) Possess basic technical writing skills and is able to communicate effectively with other team members.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prefer experience working with automated systems or blood bank medical devices
  • Likes molecular background, a plus if they are a certified MT or MLT
  • Prefers candidates to have a bachelors degree in clinical science field but okay with any science degree if they have experience
  • 0-3 of experience doing blood testing or typing. diagnostic testing would translate but the preference is working with blood samples

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
