Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position seeks a qualified Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to support K-12 students in a school setting. The role requires specialized skills to effectively address the educational needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring access to a full curriculum and promoting inclusive learning environments.
Location:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with hearing impairments.
- Utilize strategies and technologies to facilitate communication and learning.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to support student success.
- Monitor student progress and adapt instructional methods as necessary.
- Provide specialized instruction in audiology, speech, and language development.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure in teaching deaf or hard of hearing students.
- Experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of deaf education methodologies, assistive technologies, and communication techniques.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning needs.
- Collaborative mindset committed to student advocacy and support.
