As a Social Studies/History Teacher at Links Academy, you’ll design engaging, discussion-based lessons that bring the past to life and connect it to the world students live in today. You’ll personalize instruction to meet each learner’s academic goals, guiding them to think critically, communicate effectively, and develop a lifelong appreciation for history. Working within a flexible, student-centered environment, you’ll collaborate with families and colleagues to ensure every student experiences growth and success.
What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in History or a related field; advanced degree preferred

At least two years of teaching experience with middle or high school students

Teaching certification preferred but not required

Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Ability to provide dynamic, individualized instruction and foster student engagement
What You’ll Do

Design and deliver customized history instruction that adapts to students’ skill levels and learning styles

Incorporate hands-on learning, projects, and real-world applications to deepen understanding

Track and document student progress using a web-based platform to inform instruction

Provide consistent feedback and academic guidance to promote success and confidence

Collaborate with families and school staff to ensure alignment and open communication
