Your Responsibilities
As a Substitute Teacher with Teachers Now, you’ll:

Lead the classroom and deliver lessons using plans provided by the regular teacher

Foster a positive and respectful learning atmosphere where every student feels encouraged

Keep lessons on track by managing student engagement and maintaining classroom order

Supervise students during the school day, including during lunch, recess, and transitions

Communicate effectively with school staff and report attendance or behavioral updates

For long-term placements, develop and implement lesson plans aligned with school curriculum
Schedule

Availability: Monday–Friday
-
Full Day: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Half Day: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM or 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM
What You Bring
-
Minimum: 60 college credit hours or an Associate’s Degree
-
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or valid teaching certification

Prior experience working with children or in a classroom environment (preferred but not required)

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Dependable transportation and a commitment to punctuality
