Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school district in the Fort Worth, TX area is seeking three full-time Educational Diagnosticians for a contract role lasting through May 22, 2026. These positions require on-site work and a valid Texas Certification in Educational Diagnostician EC-12.
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, reviewing reevaluations (REEDs), and participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings for students with special education needs. The caseloads vary by campus: 60-70 students at a middle school, 70-75 students at a high school serving primarily 9th grade, and 50-60 students at another high school also serving 9th grade.
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid break, totaling 40 hours per week. Candidates should consider commute times carefully, as the district covers a large geographical area, and interview availability will be coordinated after January 5th.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification (EC-12)
- Experience managing caseloads in K-12 special education settings
- Proficiency in conducting educational evaluations and participating in ARD meetings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to work on-site full time
