Job Description: Project Engineer/Manager
Job Location: Livermore, CA (Bay Area)
Company: Our client is a growing industry leader specializing in the design and construction of drilled foundations and earth retention systems
Client specialize in the execution of CIDH, Concrete Pilings, drilled piers, micropiles, tiebacks, soil nailing, temporary and permanent shoring systems, shotcrete, underpinning, slide repairs and related sub-structure construction.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Download and review project documents (plans, specifications, reports) for bidding.
- Perform quantity take-offs and assist with project estimating and bidding.
- Manage vendor quotes, purchase orders, and coordinate material deliveries.
- Prepare and analyze daily production and equipment costing reports.
- Support project management duties, including budget development.
- Conduct field testing and reporting of construction elements.
- Draft various project-related reports and correspondence.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CAD software.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Highly dependable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
- A proactive team player with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- A self-starter with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
