35 hours per week, full year position
Job Overview: We are a fast-paced and high-demand non-profit program that depends on everybody in every position to help our centers function with ease. You will gain diverse experience working with an at-risk population. Cross-training is available and expected for all positions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist teacher in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff
- Implement active supervision strategies
- Assist in lesson planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessment for the classroom
- Implement screenings and assessments and data entry
Qualifications:
- High school diploma working towards Infant-Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) to be completed within two years of hire (required)
- 2 or more years of direct experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at risk population (preferred)
- Head Start experience (preferred)
- The successful candidate will be: compassionate, organized, flexible, communicator, team-player
Physical abilities: Must be able to lift 30 pounds independently without assistance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.11- $20.05 per hour

Experience:
Early childhood education: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification: Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
