Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program in Mesa, AZ. This role demands a professional who is passionate about fostering student success through psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention services, ensuring continuous educational progress outside the traditional school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting prehensive psycho-educational evaluations and interpreting results
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that address diverse student needs
- Strong munication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of ESY policies and procedures preferred

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, and academic needs
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed during the ESY period
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to develop and implement appropriate interventions and support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights for student growth
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly throughout the ESY
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports in pliance with district and state guidelines
