Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in elementary education for grades K-4. This position involves working with approximately 10 students in a resource/inclusion classroom setting, providing tailored support to meet diverse learning needs throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and differentiated instruction.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• municate regularly with parents, caregivers, and support staff.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience teaching K-4 students with diverse learning abilities.
• Strong knowledge of special education best practices and legal requirements.
• Excellent munication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to various educational settings.

Location: Charleston, MS (Elementary School setting)
