Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist is needed for a contract position in a K-12 school located in Chicago, IL. This role is .3 FTE and requires bilingual proficiency in Spanish. The position will support students and staff through comprehensive psychological services for the remainder of the current school year, with immediate availability preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and write Individualized Education Program (IEP) reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Provide consultation and recommendations based on assessment findings
- Assist in the development and implementation of intervention strategies
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (spoken and written)
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Skilled in conducting assessments, writing IEP reports, and managing re-evaluations
- Ability to start immediately and commit through the remainder of the school year
