Title: Process Development Scientist
Location: East Region of Puerto Rico (Open to Puerto Rico Residents)
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Administrative Shift
Positions Available: 1
Duration: Approximately Six (6) Months
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Scientist to join our team and lead scientific experimentation efforts aimed at advancing innovative projects. The successful candidate will design, implement, and evaluate experimental strategies under the general guidance of a supervisor, ensuring all work aligns with regulatory requirements and company goals. This role requires advanced scientific expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceive, design, execute, and interpret scientific experiments and strategies.
- Provide input for developing robust and reliable processes.
- Ensure compliance with protocols, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and interpret data, assessing its impact on project outcomes.
- Stay updated with relevant scientific literature, technology trends, and field advancements.
- Develop and implement new protocols and advanced scientific methods.
- Represent the department on project teams under senior scientific guidance.
- Foster collaborations within and outside the company.
- Advise and assist others in experimental design and data interpretation.
- Author scientific reports, regulatory documents, invention disclosures, and patents.
- Participate in professional scientific communities.
- Contribute to department-wide initiatives such as safety, recruiting, and committees.
- Develop supervisory and mentoring skills.
- Manage project timelines to ensure deliverables are met.
Education Requirements
- Doctorate in a scientific discipline; OR
- Masters degree with at least 2 years of scientific experience; OR
- Bachelors degree with at least 4 years of scientific experience.

- Computer literacy (Windows, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Application of scientific theory in experimental design and result interpretation.
- In-depth knowledge of cGMP regulations.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
- Training in Vision Systems (e.g., Cognex, Systech, Syntegon, Koerber, A3 CVP, PDA 593).
