Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher is needed to support K-12 students in a dynamic Philadelphia school setting. This contract position, available for the current school year, offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering tailored educational services to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
Adapt general education curriculum to meet students specific learning requirements
Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and families to support student success
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary
Provide specialized instruction in pliance with state and federal special education regulations

Required Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification applicable to K-12 education
Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
Strong knowledge of state and federal special education laws and procedures
Ability to create inclusive, supportive learning environments
Effective munication and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and support personnel
