About NETTTS:

For over 60 years, New England Tractor Trailer Training School (NETTTS) has been a trusted leader in CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) training programs. As a nationally accredited institution, NETTTS is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Director of Admissions for our Bridgeport campus. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-oriented professional to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on students’ futures while shaping the growth of our admissions department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Inspire the Admissions Team: Manage, recruit, train, and provide continuous support to a team of admissions representatives to help them succeed in attracting qualified students.

  • Drive Student Enrollment: Take a consultative approach in interviewing prospective students, understanding their goals, and guiding them through the enrollment process.

  • Student Retention & Success: Develop plans for student retention, including addressing attendance issues and collaborating with students to help them succeed and complete their training.

  • Innovative Marketing & Lead Generation: Contribute new ideas for lead generation, marketing campaigns, and student outreach to drive recruitment.

  • Ensure Compliance: Oversee all admissions functions, ensuring compliance with school policies, legal requirements, and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

  • Prior Admissions Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in admissions at the secondary, post-secondary, college, or trade school level. Educational sales or experience in a consultative sales environment is highly desirable.

  • Sales Expertise: Proven sales experience (inside, outside, or telemarketing), with a strong ability to engage and influence prospective students.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and provide clear guidance to students and their families.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a flexible approach to working some evenings and Saturdays.

  • Student-Centered Focus: Ability to help students and their families create personalized payment plans and guide them towards financial and educational success.
