A part-time Elementary English Learner (EL) Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Minneapolis, MN. This onsite contract role involves supporting students within an elementary general education setting with a focus on English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction. The position offers approximately 18.75 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and may allow for some scheduling flexibility.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota English Learner (EL) license or certification is required
- Experience teaching General Education and ESL at the elementary level
- Strong communication skills to engage diverse student populations
- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted ESL instruction to elementary students in a classroom setting
- Collaborate with general education teachers to align language development strategies
- Monitor and assess student progress in English language acquisition
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and staff
- Support students social and academic needs as part of the broader school team
