Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available in Chino Valley, AZ for the upcoming school year under a contract arrangement. This role involves providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring their academic and social growth within an inclusive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique requirements.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
- Maintain a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Comply with all state and federal regulations related to special education.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Special Education Teaching License in Arizona.
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card.
- Experience working with K-12 students with special needs preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
