Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in New Haven, CT, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive K-12 school setting, addressing the diverse psychological and educational needs of children across various age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students across multiple grade levels.
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student behavior and learning strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.
- Maintain compliance with all district and state regulations related to school psychology services.
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license in Connecticut.
- Proven experience working as a school psychologist within K-12 educational settings.
- Strong background in conducting educational and psychological evaluations.
- Ability to work full-time onsite, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week.
- Flexibility to serve multiple age groups and adapt to caseload needs as determined by school leadership.
