6 month W2 contract (with potential to extend or transition to perm)
Pay rate: $38-42/hr - Depending on Education and Experience
Shift:
7am – 3pm; 8am – 4pm; 9am – 5pm M-F
Summary:
As a Bench Scientist within the LC-MS Bioanalysis group, you will be responsible for the analysis of biological samples using Liquid-Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry to deliver PK and PD endpoints for clinical studies across the GSK portfolio. Data from this group is a key component to understanding molecules in the GSK pipeline and serves to make early and informed decisions for asset progression within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine analysis of drugs, metabolites, and biomarkers in biological samples to applicable standards using defined analytical methods.
- Produce written analytical methods, reports, and report contributions.
- Act as a Responsible Scientist.
- Ensure that work is performed in compliance with the relevant regulations (primarily GCP), with procedures guided by applicable government regulations, and relevant SOPs.
- Handle human biological samples and perform experimental work in accordance with HBSM, safety and data integrity guidelines
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in science related field
- Minimum of 1 year experience during academic degree or professionally
- GLP/GCP experience is a plus
- Experience in pharmaceutical or clinical research preferred
