Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Overview:
We are hiring motivated Special Education Teachers to provide instructional and behavioral support to students in both self-contained and resource room environments. Youll work with a collaborative educational team and play a key role in supporting student success throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and support students in self-contained classrooms with up to 22 students or in resource room settings.

• Serve students from Early Learning (Pre-K) through Grade 12.

• Create and implement IEPs and individualized interventions.

• Utilize effective strategies for urban K12 learners.

• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families.

• Maintain compliance with MARSE and IDEA guidelines.

Requirements:

• Michigan teaching certificate with one or more of the following endorsements: EI, CI, LD, or MDE ZA + SPED endorsement.

• Familiarity with MARSE and IDEA regulations preferred.

• Experience supporting urban student populations is highly valued.

• Virtual candidates must live in Michigan due to fingerprinting.
