Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year to serve elementary and middle school students. This full-time contract position is based in Carrollton, TX, and will primarily support an Elementary School setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with students in grades 4 through 8, providing instruction in all four core content areas while addressing individualized learning needs within a special education framework.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction in reading, math, science, and social studies to students in grades 4-8
- Manage a caseload of students with diverse learning needs, ensuring compliance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and specialists to promote an inclusive learning environment
- Utilize strategies that support English as a Second Language (ESL) learners alongside special education services
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to maximize educational outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Special Education Teacher Certification
- Certification in Generalist 4-8 and Special Education with ESL endorsement
- Proven experience teaching all four core content areas to grades 4-8
- Strong ability to design and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
