Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time school psychologist position is available for a K-12 school located in New Haven, CT. This contract role spans a full semester, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services to students
- Interpreting assessment data and preparing detailed reports for educational planning
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and supporting inclusive educational practices
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location: New Haven, Connecticut
Duration: Full semester contract (ASAP through end of school year)
Schedule: Full-time
