Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students within a dynamic educational environment. This contracted position runs from August 25, 2025, through June 1, 2026, serving schools located in both Bluffton and Hilton Head, SC.
The role requires a licensed School Psychologist dedicated to fostering student well-being and academic success through assessment, intervention, and collaboration. Working 37.5 hours per week, you will be integral to supporting students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs while partnering closely with educators, families, and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Provide consultation and counseling to students, teachers, and families to promote positive outes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to ensure effective support
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations
- Strong skills in psychological testing, data analysis, and report writing
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and allied professionals
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
