Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized educational opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher serving students in grades K-12 within a community school setting located in Dearborn Heights, MI. This contract position spans the current school year through June 12, 2026, offering a blend of virtual and in-person teaching responsibilitiesapproximately 50% of services will be delivered remotely, while the remaining half will be onsite. This format supports diverse learning needs and flexible instruction methods.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning requirements.
• Provide specialized instruction and support for students with diverse educational needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote inclusive learning environments.
• Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and communication aligned with regulatory and school standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for K-12 education.
• Experience working with students with special learning needs.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
