Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a part-time School Psychologist in Emeryville, CA, supporting a K-12 school community. This contract position begins in late February, covering a maternity leave, and offers the chance to work onsite with a focused caseload at a single location.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for referred students, providing consultative support to facilitate learning and development, and delivering short-term counseling services. These services target special education students as outlined by IEP teams, with the scope extending to general education students when appropriate. Flexibility is essential, as caseloads and student needs may evolve throughout the assignment.
Qualifications and desired experience for this role include:
- Active California State Licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters degree in educational or clinical psychology
- Completion of at least one year of supervised internship under a credentialed school psychologist
- Openness to new graduates is encouraged
