Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time school psychologist position is available at an elementary school in Naperville, IL, offering a contract spanning the current school year (ASAP through end of school year). This role focuses on supporting students within an elementary caseload, characterized by a manageable number of cases and a collaborative and supportive psychological services community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Provide individual and group counseling services tailored to students developmental levels
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to developing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Promote positive school climate through consultation and crisis intervention as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist License required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage a low caseload effectively within a team-oriented environment
