Job Summary:

Lake Highland's Athletics department seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Coach for the JV Girls Lacrosse team. This role focuses primarily on coaching and developing middle school and sub-varsity level players, with an emphasis on preparing them for a successful transition to varsity-level play.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the JV girls lacrosse program
  • Assist with program development
  • Develop young athletes with a focus on skill-building, sportsmanship, and teamwork
  • Help facilitate the progression of players from sub-varsity to varsity level

This is an adjunct, non-benefitted, seasonal position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.

Education/Experience:

  • Previous coaching experience at the high school level
  • Strong understanding of player development and game strategy
  • Educational background and interest in applying for potential academic or staff positions at the school
