Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Overview:
We are hiring Special Education Teachers to support students in a variety of instructional settings, including resource rooms and self-contained classrooms. This high-impact role focuses on providing specialized instruction, behavioral supports, and structured interventions to ensure student growth across academic and socialemotional domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction in self-contained classrooms (up to 22 students) or resource room assignments.

• Serve students from Early Learning (Pre-K) through Grade 12.

• Design and implement IEPs and track progress toward goals.

• Work collaboratively with educators, families, and support teams.

• Address academic and behavioral needs unique to urban K12 student populations.

• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Requirements:

• Michigan teaching certificate with EI, CI, LD, or MDE ZA + Special Education endorsement.

• Understanding of MARSE and IDEA guidelines preferred.

• Experience working in urban educational environments strongly preferred.

• Michigan residency required for virtual assignments (due to fingerprinting).
