Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available to support students across grade levels K-12 in a dynamic educational setting located in Castle Rock, CO. This contract opportunity offers flexibility, with part-time candidates encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and support services for students facing behavioral and emotional challenges
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to creating a positive learning environment
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and educational laws
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize tasks effectively
