Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025/26 school year in the Phoenix area, serving K-12 students within a comprehensive public school district. This contract role offers the opportunity to support a diverse student population by providing psychological assessments, interventions, and consultative services to promote student success and well-being.
Responsibilities include conducting psychoeducational evaluations, collaborating with educators and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and delivering evidence-based interventions. The professional will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, assist in crisis intervention, and contribute to the development of school-wide support initiatives.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Active Arizona Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment and intervention strategies for K-12 students
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams in school settings
- Ability to manage caseload effectively while maintaining compliance with district policies
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and school staff
Location and schedule:
- Position based in Mesa, Arizona, within the Phoenix metropolitan area
- Full-time hours, approximately 35 to 37.5 hours per week
- In-person role with no virtual or hybrid option permitted by district policy
