Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced ESL Teacher to support PreK-12 students in a K-12 school setting. This onsite contract position offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours per week and is located in Lakeville, MN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction to English as a Second Language (ESL) students, tailoring lessons to meet diverse language proficiency levels.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support students with varying needs.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to improve language acquisition.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and behavior.
- Communicate effectively with families to foster engagement and support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid MN ESL or English Learner (EL) teaching license.
- Proven experience teaching ESL students across PreK-12 grade levels.
- Ability to develop and implement differentiated instructional plans.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of culturally responsive teaching strategies.
