Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Fountain, CO is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves providing psychological services within the school setting to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention strategies and support plans.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to student psychology services.
Qualifications:
- Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working within a school environment.
- Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations.
- Strong assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
