Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join their team full time for the current school year on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with students across all grade levels in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, collaborating with educators and families to develop effective student support plans, providing counseling and crisis intervention services, and contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive school climate. The School Psychologist will also assist in identifying students needs and implementing interventions to support academic, social, and emotional development.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid School Psychologist License
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Understanding of current educational laws and regulations relating to student services
