Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a dedicated 5th Grade Elementary Education Teacher to provide quality instruction in a general education setting at an onsite elementary school in Kershaw, SC. This position involves a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with the possibility of approved overtime. The role is structured as a contract for the uping school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction to 5th-grade students in accordance with curriculum guidelines.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that supports student growth and learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement instructional strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and ply with school and district policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) Teaching License with endorsement in Elementary Education.
- Experience teaching general education at the elementary level is preferred.
- Strong munication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate closely with fellow educators and staff.
