Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted School Psychologist opportunity is available to support educational settings in Newberg, Oregon. This position is designed for a mitted professional who will provide psychological services throughout the school year, contributing to the academic and emotional success of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, including IEP (Individualized Education Program) development and review.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in pliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Support positive behavioral interventions and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification in school psychology.
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results.
- Strong understanding of child development and educational systems.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
