Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher serving students in grades K-12 within a public school setting in Littleton, CO. The position is a contract role for the current school year, designed for professionals passionate about supporting diverse learners and fostering inclusive educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to ensure effective support and accommodations
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to enhance student learning and engagement
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting outcomes
- Support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of students with disabilities
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for K-12 education

- Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations and guidelines
