Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Somerton, AZ, serving a K-12 school environment. This full-time contract position offers the chance to work with students from PreK through 8th grade, providing essential psychological services to support their educational and emotional development.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, interpreting test results, consulting with teachers and parents, developing intervention strategies, and supporting the overall mental health and well-being of students. The caseload will be determined but is expected to align with the needs of the school district during the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Educator Certification in School Psychology
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required for employment)
- Experience working with PreK-8th grade students in a school setting
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention planning
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals in a multidisciplinary team
Location & Schedule:
- Somerton, AZ
- Onsite position, full time (40 hours/week)
- Contract duration from August 3, 2026, to May 26, 2027 (dates subject to change)
- Caseload details to be determined upon assignment
