Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for experienced school psychologists to support K-12 students across multiple sites within a well-established school district in Glendale Heights, IL. These full-time positions offer the chance to work directly with students, educators, and families to foster academic success and emotional well-being within a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Provide counseling services and intervention strategies for students with diverse backgrounds and challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting mental health
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state and district regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement in Illinois
- Experience working in K-12 school settings, preferably with a range of grade levels including middle and elementary schools
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and counseling skills tailored to school-age children
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and work onsite in Glendale Heights, IL
Positions Available:
- One full-time psychologist focused on middle school students
- Two full-time psychologists shared between four elementary schools (PreK-5), covering two sites each
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract through May 22, 2026
