Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity exists for a School Psychologist supporting a K-12 private school program working with parentally placed students in the Jacksonville area. This contract position offers three days per week with a flexible schedule tailored around evaluation, consultation, and team collaboration. Services will be provided through a combination of in-person and virtual meetings to efficiently support student assessments and eligibility determinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret psychological evaluations as part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in referral, eligibility, and IEP team meetings to guide evaluation decisions.
- Communicate assessment results and assist in developing appropriate educational plans.
- Coordinate with school personnel and parents to support student needs.
- Manage documentation, reporting, and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings.
- Ability to perform evaluations and consult with interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills with parents and educators.
- Flexibility to provide services in-person at district offices as well as virtually.
Location: Jacksonville area, Florida.
Schedule: Approximately three days per week from January 5, 2026, through May 28, 2026. Scheduling includes in-person assessments at district offices and virtual team meetings.
