Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Special Education Teacher position is available to provide homebound instruction for a 3rd grade life skills student. This onsite role is based in an elementary school setting in Willis, TX, and offers the opportunity to work closely with the student and their family to support individualized learning needs.

Contract Duration: Through May 22, 2026
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Part-time, approximately 4 hours per week, scheduled directly between the provider and the student's parent
Caseload: Homebound instruction for one 3rd grade life skills student
Work Environment: Onsite only
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the student's life skills needs
- Provide specialized instruction and support to enhance the student's learning and development
- Collaborate regularly with the students family to ensure progress and address concerns
- Maintain accurate records of instruction and student performance
- Adhere to district and state regulations for special education services
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification or licensure applicable for K-12 education
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably with life skills or similar needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with families and school personnel
- Ability to plan and deliver individualized, homebound instruction
- Commitment to student-centered, adaptive teaching approaches
