A K-12 school in Waterbury, CT, is seeking a full-time School Psychologist for a full-semester contract position. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in providing psychological services within educational settings, supporting students' academic and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs and promote a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports on student progress and services provided
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, data interpretation, and intervention planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a school team
Location: Waterbury, Connecticut
Duration: Full-semester contract, full-time
Start Date: ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY)
