For Each 1 Reach 1 Mentoring Program, Inc. Reach Academy Private School Pre-K -12 is looking for elementary & middle school teachers to join our team. We are located at 7318 Sunshine Grove Road Brooksville, FL 34613.

Position Summary

The Elementary and Middle School Teacher is responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and academically challenging learning environment for students. The teacher will plan, implement, and assess instruction in core subject areas — including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies — in alignment with the school’s curriculum and mission. The teacher fosters character development, leadership skills, and respect for others in accordance with the values of Reach Academy Private School.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver daily lesson plans that meet state standards and the school’s academic objectives.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying learning styles and abilities.
• Create a classroom culture of respect, responsibility, and active learning.
• Analyze student data and group students based on the data.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Utilize various assessment tools to measure student learning and guide instruction.
• Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and colleagues about student progress and classroom activities.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe, orderly learning environment.
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and cross-curricular lessons.
• Support school-wide programs, activities, and special events that promote student growth and community engagement.
• Uphold the philosophy, policies, and mission of the school.

Qualifications: Must have at least one of the top three options.

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (master’s preferred).
• Valid teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain certification).
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to integrate technology effectively into instruction.
• Commitment to fostering academic excellence and character development.

Work Environment:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule aligned with the academic calendar.
• Classroom setting with occasional outdoor or off-campus learning activities.
• Involvement in school functions such as open houses, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular events.
