Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to support middle school students in a center-based Social Emotional Learning (SEL) classroom. The role is contract-based, running from January 13, 2025, through June 4, 2025, with a commitment of 30 hours per week, typically structured as six-hour days.
Responsibilities include assisting the lead teacher in classroom management, supporting the SEL curriculum, and providing individualized attention to students within a middle school setting. The paraeducator will work closely with the educational team to foster a positive and productive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paraprofessional
- Experience working in middle school and center-based classrooms preferred
- Knowledge of Social Emotional Learning strategies is a plus

- Position based in Minneapolis, MN
- Worksite: One middle school building
